Hi, when I switch in draft mode to storyboard moade scrivener hangs and shows the spinning beachball. The fans blow with full speed and processor load goes up to ninetysomething percent. This happens only with two of my projects. Maybe I use a corrupted image file in those projects? Regards, Eberhard

I know that this can happen in one situation: If you have an image file towards the beginning of a piece of text, and then the synopsis (index card) is automatically created from the text with the image in it. Basically, the image isn't removed properly from the synopsis text and the storyboard doesn't know how to read it, so it hangs. I have a fix for this in the next beta (0.3b). Until then, you can prevent this from happening by deleting the text in the index card of the document with the image in it, and rewriting the synopsis yourself.
Let me know if that fixes it.
Thanks, Keith

Thank you for your answer and solution. I was in romania researching for a documentary. So I missed to check the forum for a while.
I deleted the text Document with the image inside. Then I created a new text document and pasted the same contents - some text and an image. Now scrivener does not hang any more. But the synopsis of my documents in storyboard view doesn´t show up any more. The cards show a folder in black&white and read -no synopsis-. Text tab is sometimes there but vanishes when I choose another card.
regards and best wishes, Eberhard
