Not sure if this will still apply in the revised interface, but for 0.2.0, I have noticed that if I am using the split screen feature in the compose view, when I click the "back" button in the top half, the previous document is displayed in both halves of the screen (while it's possible to go "back" and "forward" in the bottom half independently of the top half).
As an example:
I open "Act of Contrition" in the bottom pane, and "You Can't Go Home Again" in the top pane, and work on them for a while. Later, I open "Litmus" in the bottom pane and "Six Degrees of Separation" in the top pane.
If I click "back" in the bottom pane, I get "Act of Contrition" in the bottom pane while "Six Degrees of Separation" remains in the top pane. Clicking "forward" also only changes the bottom pane. This is as I expect.
However, if I click "back" in the top pane, I get "You Can't Go Home Again" in both panes, and if I click "forward" I get "Six Degrees of Separation" in both panes. (I can still click "back" a few times in the bottom pane to get back to the previous document I wanted, though it'd be easier if it just stayed there ...)

Thanks - I see this. This doesn't happen in 0.3.0b - it acts separately, as expected. All the best, Keith
