Hello,
First I would like to admit I am fascinated by Scrivener; think it has everything I've been looking for in this kind of software. We (me and my partner) would like to use it for our work and are experimenting with it at this stage.
I do not see such thread published sofar and decided to report it. We encountered a problem when trying to import a cyrilic text file.
1. Importing through the File Menu --> Import Files - failed (meaning there are only symbols visible, but not the letters; though the synopsis is perfectly readable ) 2. Importing by Drag and Drop function - also failed - same as 1 3. Opening the file in other Text Editing Program (Pages, Text Edit), then copy the text and paste it in Scrivener - works ok.
I work with Scrivener Gold under Mac OS X 10.4.6, with PowerBook G4. My partner is also using Scrivener Gold under Mac OS 10.4.6. with MacBookPro and it behaves exactly the same with him.
Fixing this will enable us to continue our work with Scrivener.
P.S. I am ready to provide the cyrilic file for testing the problem. Thanks,

Thanks - this is very useful. I would indeed be very grateful if you could send me the cryllic file at scrivener_beta@yahoo.co.uk. If it's an easy fix, I'll fix it in Scrivener Gold, otherwise it will have to go into Scrivener 1.0.
Oh, and I'm glad you like Scrivener - thanks! All the best, Keith
