When I was typing my novel for nanowrimo, I found something odd.
The first two chapters, the words (lines) were close together which I liked. However when I got to chapter three, there was a big space between the lines. Why is this? How can I fix it back to make there no space between? I mean there was some space between the lines for chapters one and two but there was an even bigger space between the lines for chapter three. Anyone know why?

Did you perhaps, inadvertantly, set the line spacing to something other than the default? If you go to [Preferences>Editor>Text] toward the bottom of that section, you will see a drop down for "Line Spacing". The default is 1.5.
Another thing you can check is to see if the document itself has had its line spacing changed manually. Menu: Format>Text>Show Ruler. On the ruler, select the spacing dropdown. The default Scrivener setting is +6.0.
