Now that my brain might be able to do something other than worry about my Nano piece, could you take a moment to give me some background on the whole Karma notation on our posts here?
It is a bit disconcerting to discover that as Karma goes, the computer assures me that I have none! =|:-o

I imagine it's related to how many people clicked the "Exalt" vs. the "Smite" links immediately below your karma. Just a guess :-)

It's exactly that. It's actually the Proboards default. I thought about changing it to range from "Scribbler" to "Great Novelist", but thought better of it when I realised that I would default to "Great Novelist" whereas users who have actually been published would be stuck at "Scribbler"... But anyway, yes, it is to do with how people rate your posts at the moment, though I don't really think we need ratings, so I might see if I can get rid of that. Cheers, Keith
