While text items have their individual text and the index card, groups have neither. That's already kicking me in the behind - for my test-novel (I must be sick - I'm writing a test *novel*?), I introduced a group called 'The evil conspiracy' in my People section. I'd really, truly, like to keep notes about the group as a whole...

I'll think about that... It's a good idea, especially as groups do have an "index card", but you can't yet see it in the Binder view (you can edit synopses for groups) via the Draft view but not through Storyboard view, which, now that you bring it up, is counter-intuitive. Added to the "to do" list. Thanks, KB

I know you've added it to the to-do list, but I want to vote for this feature as well. My NaNoWriMo project is looking to be a collection of short stories tied together by character and location, and being able to make notes/synopsis of groups (because each group is one of the short stories) more easily is something I really need.
And I second how helpful it would be for groups in the People section as well; it helps me to have notes on individual families as a whole in addition to breaking them down to individuals.
Unless I'm missing something, right now I have to go to Draft mode, CTRL-Click on the Group, select Rename, and then Tab to Synopsis in order to add text notes to group "index cards." If there's an easier way in the current beta version, I missed it my repeat runs through the tutorial.

Unfortunately the only way to edit synopses for groups at the moment is indeed through the draft view. Although you can just double-click on the synopsis field in Draft view (provided the column is visible) to edit.
Not quite sure what you mean by this. You *can* have groups inside "People" - just select "People" and add a new group...
Thanks, KB

Oh wait, I see what you mean - you mean to have notes on the groups. Sorry. Yep, coming soon...
