I didn't see this anywhere, but maybe I'm mistaken.
When I open Scrivener by clicking on the Binder icon, it goes into Scrivener, but there's no "main screen" or box, with prompts for a new project or to open an old one. That would be nice to have, but maybe it's being planned for the official release.

Yes, there was mention of it in another thread about automatically opening the last project you worked on. A "splash screen" type thing that asks what you want to do was mentioned as a solution.

This has already been done for the next version. That said, at the moment, I have a screen saying, "Scrivener: What do you want to do?". This is identical to Ulysses - if anybody has any ideas of what I could put instead of ripping off Ulysses, I would be very grateful...

Well, that is a pretty standard dialogue. I have seen it in hundreds of applications for many years. So I don't think you have to worry about ripping off Ulysses. :)

How about using the binder theme? "Pick an old binder?" or "Start a new binder?"
