Context: Composer Mode Severity: Medium Despite the advertised behaviour in Step 8 of the tutorial, when a drawer is open, and you click on a media file, say RoomWithAView, the drawer remains filled with data from Step 8. You can click on multiple media types and it will not turn blank, or change, until you click on another text file or Step 8 again.

Hmm... I'm not seeing this. What should happen is that if you have only one document open (no split), then if it's a text document, it should show the index card and notes. If it's not a text document, the drawer should just say "No text selection". Now, if you have two documents open (in a split), and one is a text document, and one is not, the drawer contents will continue to show the text document's info.
There are two reasons for this: 1) We assume that if you have a text document open and a media file, the media file is being used as a reference for your text document, so you want to see the text info. 2) The drawer shows info for the view with the current focus, but non-text documents don't get focus.
If you have two text documents open, the drawer will show the info for the one you are currently editing.
Is this the behaviour you are seeing, or something diffferent?
Thanks, KB

I have been unable to reproduce this. I am relatively sure that I did not have a split open when I noticed the bug, as I would have thought of that as being the cause (and feature) for it not changing. I'll post to this thread again if I see it come up, but for now we'll just let it sit. Could have just been my error.
