Context: Printing from any view or mode. Severity: High Reproduction: Applicataion will hang: Spinning beach ball, no bug report dialogue.Disabling this feature will let you print to your heart's content, as far as I can tell.

Update The key feature is not actually inline annotations, but the combination of the it and Remove Comments. You can have either one enabled individually, but not both. Once both are enabled, the application will crash on print.
Note, this is also causing the export hang described in another thread, and the remedy for that hang is the same as this one.
Addenda Perhaps since the entire annotation system is undergoing a complete rehaul, this should be demoted to a lower priority, as there will not be comments and annotations.

Thanks. Yep, this bug is confirmed, and it is to do with my addition of comments. It will be fixed shortly, though, as you note, and as the "New Stuff" section of the tutorial does ask users to avoid comments, hopefully everyone will be able to put up with it for a little while (given that you can still export and print without this option).

Just to clarify, I think you meant, stay away from Annotations. Comments will retain your text in future versions, so they should be used for notes -- and you can print them out and export them, too. Just make sure the strip comments option is unchecked.
If you do wish to remove comments, it will work, just make sure that the inline annotations option is de-selected.

Yep, that's what I meant. This bug is a low priority precisely because this is all going to change...
