I just imported my first web page. Nice feature. May well speed up copying things from the wiki I have been using for storing character notes and so on.
Once the page is in Scrivener, the navigation seems a little broken. Obviously Scrivener is not intended to be used as a web browser (too distracting apart from anything else) but there are a couple of things I've noticed:
1/ no back button. If you click on a link in the imported page then there is no way to go back to the page you came from. Command+[ doesn't work, nor does Command+Left Arrow.
2/ page being viewed not saved when windows switched. If you have done some navigation, then change documents, then change back then the page view in the web page document resets to the imported document location (arguably, this is the way to return to a previous page if you've clicked on a link...)

Good points - the web view is very basic at the moment and only really intended for looking at individual pages. Rather than implement proper navigation abilities - which is really a little beyond the scope of the program (there is no point trying to imlement a full web-browser) - what I want to do is get it so that clicking on a link will open it in your default web browser. I think that would make more sense. Thanks for the reminder, I seem to have forgotten to add that to the "to do" list.

That is the best bet, yes. I was slightly surprised to be able to navigate at all!

Pretty handy feature, though. I created a folder within Research for material related to the beta (so that I can link to these forums from within my project), and I really like the fact that you can navigate at least a bit even in full screen mode.
Not sure of the status, but I noticed that I can navigate pretty far into the forums--including the use of the "reply" option--but links within the posts don't work, even when Ctrl-Clicking. I know it's starting to exceed the scope of the program to have full navigation, but having basic navigation, and then the option of launching an external browser to follow links would be great.
FWIW.

Sadly I'm removed this from the next beta... From now on, clicking on a link will open your default web browser. In full screen, this will mean that you leave full screen to go to your browser automatically, but when you return to Scrivener you will return to full screen.
