Context: Binder Mode and Composer Mode Severity: Low Version: 0.1.1b Issue: It would be nice to have a pair of keyboard shortcuts for going forward and backward in the document history, rather than having to click the arrows. I would suggest Cmd-[ & Cmd-] and/or Cmd-Opt-Left Arrow & Cmd-Opt-Right Arrow, since these combinations are very common amongst Mac browsers.

Added to the "to do" list - good suggestion.

This made me look at how the back and forward arrows work: In the Binder, you click in the file list to go to file A. OK. Then you click in the file list to go to file B. OK. Then you click the arrow to to go back to file A. OK... BUT in the binder list, file B is still highlighted, and although all the other indicators update appropriately (text, synopsis, notes, navigation bar) that highlighted line in the Binder is what your (my) eye sees. (Also, by the way, I find the name Navigation Bar for the file's title bar a bit misleading, although I realize you can drag a file into it to display that file.)

Hmm, well a "navigation bar" is exactly what it is - it allows you to navigate (as in DevonThink and Xcode). As for the binder highlight not updating - this is standard behaviour, too. Again, DevonThink and Xcode have exactly the same behaviour. That said, I just checked out BBEdit which also has the feature, and that does update the selection. So, being the kind chap that I am - and because it was very easy to do - I have just fixed it so that the binder selection gets updated by the navigation arrows. You'll see it in the next beta. EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention that I've added keyboard navigation too...
