The draft export feature has a bug in writing synopses. My novel is organised as follows: Since I wanted to print out just the chapter summaries for reference purposes, I did a File > Export Draft and selected "Include synopses". The output file includes all the chapter synopses, but it also includes "- No synopsis -" for every Part. Since folders cannot have synopses at all, it would be better if its synopsis were not mentioned.

I think I recall a discussion where synopsis would definitely be added to folders, and very likely notes, and possibly even text, too. So this might be there as a placeholder for stuff that does not exist yet.

Fair enough. I must have missed that discussion. I did check the To Do list before I posted.
Can I modify the bug report to just be "don't print out '- no synopsis -' if there is no synopsis", then?

I agree, that should definitely be the behaviour. If there is no meta-data, the meta-data handle should not display. Not in this kind of application, anyway.

Note that folders *can* already have synopses. The problem is that currently you can only edit these synopses through Draft mode; I am going to change it so that you can edit them in other modes too.
So this isn't a bug, but expected behaviour (just none-obvious until a future release). You can always check not to include the particular folder in the export, though I am guessing you want the title there...
