After updating to the latest beta version, I no longer get the zoom dropdown box when I mouseover at the bottom of the screen in fullscreen. Since I used this function so that I could type from bed with a wireless keyboard, setting it to 800% so I can read the big-ass letters from distance, this is quite essential.
I'm probably just missing some new option, though. Where can I set the zoom level for the fullscreen mode?

Hmm. I get the drop down on my system. Do you get the full screen "dashboard" at all when you drop the mouse to the bottom? I noticed it was a little more picky in this beta, and sometimes it would not come up for whatever reason. When it does come up, there should be a document selection drop down on the far left, and directly to the right of that, the text zoom size.
Failing that, you can use the keyboard. Cmd-Opt-Up and Down to zoom in and out.

Sorry, that's one thing I forgot to document: following user-suggestions, the control panel at the bottom of the screen now only pops up after a half-second delay. It is not more "picky"; it just has a delay. This is because users found it annoying that previously it could pop up while just navigating with the mouse. So just put the mouse right to the bottom and leave it there briefly. See what you think of the new behaviour. I can always change it back, but I think that it does actually work better now... (And yes, you can now change documents from within full screen. *Sigh* But it's always with the negatives. )

I figured out why I had troubles once: Here is how to make it not come up at all:

That's not actually a bug - it's just that the window hasn't been activated until you click back into it. You will find the same behaviour in Ulysses, for instance.
Thanks, Keith

Well all right. Everything works fine if you do not activate the dashboard directly before Cmd-Tab, that is why I mentioned it.
